Karina Zhou is an author-illustrator and art manager based in San Francisco. Through her creative and community-centered work, she strives to spark joy and connectivity to audiences of all ages.
In her children’s picture books, Karina explores how cultural practices and intergenerational storytelling can help enrich childhood development. She enjoys building creative curriculums and regularly hosts author talks or workshops for students.
Karina holds a BFA in Animation and Special Effects at California College of the Arts with a Minor in Writing and Literature.
When not at her desk, you can find Karina outdoors immersed in evergreen trees and sipping on chamomile tea.
