My name is Karina! I'm a Canadian animator and community leader based in San Francisco. I'm on a mission to enhance stories that explore cultural identities and diverse global perspectives. I love designing stories that spark wonder for children and the young at heart!
Currently, I'm pursuing a BFA in Animation at California College of the Arts with a Minor in Writing and Literature
In my free time, I volunteer as a Partnership Associate with Asians in Animation. We foster community relationships for Asian creatives in VFX, Animation and Film around the world.
For fun, I write/illustrate children's books such as Kai’s Tea Eggs, which was published by Arsenal Pulp Press and gained recognition across Canadian education systems.
I love exploring the realms of artistic expression. I love meeting new people!
